Last week I was able to get a little kid-free headspace, go offline, and do some strategic planning for my business.

I mapped out my B2B and B2C propositions and launches for the rest of 2020.

These things won’t just happen to me alone. I need knowledge, skills, and systems to be able to achieve my dream biz goals.

But one thing has been coming up for me over the last few weeks:

‘Use what you already have’

That’s my new motto for the rest of the year.

This applies to you too!

  • You have everything you need already inside you to make things happen
  • You have the mindset, confidence, and drive to do it. It’s all in there!
  • You have a support network already at your fingertips
  • And you already have the courses and programmes you have already paid for, not to mention the books and podcasts.

You might not need the next shiny object.

Before you buy anything else have a look at what you already have that can help you.

With this in mind, I’m off on a little holiday this week, so rather than create another week’s worth of new content, I’ve dipped into my archives to bring you some resources you may find useful.

If you want to land a TEDx gig in 2020/21

I am a total TED geek. I spoke on the TED stage in 2017 and have gone on to coach and train others on how to land and deliver their dream TEDx gig. I am also now a TEDx curator for TEDx Moseley. If TED is on your list (and it absolutely should be!) then here are a few resources that may help.

Watch my TEDx talk

Hopefully, this will inspire you to know that you don’t need to be a polished professional to deliver a TED talk. This was the first time I had stood up in front of a room full of people in 4 years, I had an anxiety disorder and had 24 hours to prepare! If I can do it, you can do it.
