We all know that being visible is the key to a successful business so why do some many female entrepreneurs still shy away from it?
Maybe we are scared of failure, maybe we don’t truly believe in our own worth and abilities. Or perhaps we are frightened of actually having the success we declare we so strongly want. Whatever the underlying reasons there are 2 definitive facts – it is limiting our business success and we are not alone. It is one of the most common things I hear from my clients.
Many ladies I speak to can’t believe that at one time I had no confidence. They can’t believe that I worry and get scared just like they do. But the fact is that it is true. At one time I couldn’t even hold a conversation if I met a friend on the street. I felt anxious, awkward and uncomfortable. I would go bright red at the slightest thing.
I wanted to be invisible and hide away. I was more concerned with how other people were feeling because I didn’t know what I needed or wanted from life. I stayed well and truly hidden as a result.
Fast forward a few months and I am making an impact, landing speaking gigs and reaching 100,000’s of people with my message.
If I can go from staying silent to standing out through speaking then SO CAN YOU!
So what does it take….what is the big secret?
It’s simple!
• Get clear on your mission, purpose and story
• Identify your powerful idea and core message
• Know how your mission will help others
• Then take all that and share it in ways that connect deeply with other human beings

Speaking is one of the best ways to share your message with your audience. One of the most common things I used to train and coach people on when in my corporate role was….presentations and speaking.
Today, I want to share with you Carol’s story:
Carol had climbed her way to the top to become MD of a biz division of 2000 people with her skills and expertise. Which included being kick ass at numbers. All of a sudden she was thrust into the limelight and expected to motivate and engage a business division of thousands. She simply didn’t think she had it in her.
This is where I came in. I have coached hundreds of leaders in this area in my time as an executive coach so I knew I could move Carol from frightened to eager speaker.
