In the world of thought leadership, a few simple words can make all the difference.
As someone who has ideas to share and wisdom to impart, it can sometimes feel too complex to articulate.
But there is a way to create a memorable lasting impression, just like many successful leaders have done before.
Think:
Simon Sinek: Start With Why.
Brené Brown: Daring Greatly.
Marie Forleo: Everything is Figureoutable.
These phrases aren’t just catchy slogans, they are powerful tools that define their mission, build authority, and resonate deeply with audiences.
A few weeks ago, a debate erupted online when Mel Robbins’ new book Let Them clashed with a poet who claimed the phrase as her own.
It sparked an important conversation: What makes a phrase truly powerful? And more importantly, how can you create one for yourself?
I spoke about the online backlash and broke down the legacy phrase process in this short soundbite episode.
