When I started Words That Change Lives, I thought it would be a fun way to share ideas and interview brilliant minds.
70 episodes later it’s been all that and so much more!
I’ve learned how to hold space for real, honest conversations.
I’ve grown in confidence as an interviewer.
I now know way more about YouTube thumbnails than I ever thought I would! And have actually enjoyed creating them.
It feels good to be pausing at episode 70, but it was also really useful to reflect back and pick out the highlights and lessons.
A few reflections:
- Saying “yes” to guests like Yin from Traitors and Jason from Radical Candor was a game-changer (and a confidence boost!)
- Weekly content is a lot, especially when you’re trying to balance work, family, and, life
- Developing my skills in interviewing, video editing and SEO have all been added bonuses.
So, what’s next?
I’m in full recalibration mode, rebuilding my business around three core types of clients and focusing on work that lights me up and fits into real life.
There’s a new chapter coming, and I’ll be documenting it on YouTube while season two of the podcast brews in the background.
So I’d love it if you hop on over there and subscribe to get weekly BTS updates of the recalibration https://www.youtube.com/@helenpackhamspeakercoach
