I am. I love learning new things but over the past year haven’t been clear on what I wanted to learn next. I felt a bit lost in my direction and wanted to learn a new skill that was productive whilst enjoying it like I would a hobby.
So when I set the intention to become a radio presenter, went on a one day workshop to learn and then landed a spot as a co-host for the Brighton Business Show I knew what that new skill would be!
Last week I hosted, recorded and edited my own one hour show.
It’s not easy remembering all the dials, channels, inputs, ditties, announcements, song cues, etc but I’m going to throw myself into becoming the best I can be at it!
And the great thing is there is so much scope to create whatever I want to and deliver a show that gives value and inspires the listeners of Brighton.
I love it so much and can’t wait to do it again in Feb.
But as with all things you have to start somewhere!
My first ever show is now up on the Brighton Business Show Podcast! It will also go out live on 97.2 FM at the end of the month.
You can subscribe to the Business Show iTunes by clicking this link and have a listen (mine is the December show!). If you listen to your podcasts elsewhere just search for Brighton Business Show!
It’s my first rodeo so I’ve still got a lot to learn, but I’d love to know what you think!
