You’ve probably seen it. AI is everywhere, and with it comes both excitement and fear.

Will it take over jobs?

Erase the need for human creativity?

If you’re feeling overwhelmed, you’re not alone. I was too.

I’ll admit, I was sceptical at first. I resisted using it because I didn’t know what I didn’t know. And I thought it had an evil tinge to it. (Cue count dracula laugh.)

I also heard a lot of noise online of where AI goes wrong if you rely on it too much.

A few examples:

  • Superficial engagement: AI bots liking and commenting on social posts, only to break trust when the automation is revealed in the DMs.
  • Generic content: Blogs and social posts written entirely by AI with no human editing that feel robotic and off-brand.
  • Lost connections: Automated emails that lack the personal relevance needed to turn prospects into clients.

I definitely didn’t want to go down this road, but as a single parent running a business, I couldn’t ignore the potential for AI to make life easier.

So I got curious.

After attending an AI workshop, I realised that AI doesn’t have to be a replacement for human ingenuity, it’s a clever assistant that, when used wisely, can amplify what you already do well.

(By the way I’ve recorded a podcast episode that dives into the pitfalls and findings in more detail. Listen here https://podfollow.com/words-that-change-lives.)

I’ve been using it consistently for the past year now and here’s how I’ve come to see it:

The AI Sweet Spot: Humans First, AI Second

AI works best as a partner, not the boss. It can handle repetitive tasks and generate ideas, but it’s your creativity, empathy, and connection that truly drive results.

In my work, I’ve developed what I call the AI Sweet Spot:

  1. Start with human vision. Define your expertise, goals, and voice.
  2. Use AI to streamline processes, brainstorm ideas, and organise frameworks and co-create outcomes.
  3. Always refine the output to align with your values and tone.
  4. Never replace genuine human connection with AI automation.

This balance lets you work smarter, not harder, while preserving the trust and authenticity that sets you apart.

How to Harness AI Without Losing Your Voice

In my AI Beta Sessions, I guide clients through a co-creation process where human creativity takes the lead, and AI provides the support.

Together, we create assets like your expert method, legacy phrase, keynote talks, books, and leadership programmess—all while keeping your authentic voice and unique expertise at the centre.

The result?

Smarter, faster outcomes that still feel deeply personal and impactful.

AI isn’t here to replace you. It’s here to empower you to focus on what you do best: connecting with others, solving problems, and creating meaningful impact.

If you’re curious about finding your own AI Sweet Spot, let’s talk. Send me a DM with SWEET SPOT or book a session here.
